Simple Path to Treat Dandruff

Simple Ways To Treat Dandruff
Eat right: You might be told to do that for all sorts of things, but really, it is the basic prerequisite for overall good health. Have lots of zinc, Omega-3 fatty acids, E and B vitamins, and avoid yeast and sugar.
Oiling is the next basic step to healthy hair. Your grandmother was right – regular tel maalish does lead to healthy, dandruff-free hair. Leave the oil in for a while, don’t wash it off immediately.
Excessive use of hairstyling products like hairspray, mousse, gels contain ingredients that might make the scalp dry, causing flaking and itching.

How to Pick The Right Hair Colour

Choose the correct shade
If you have warm skin, opt for golden shades such as caramel and bronze in a darker shade than your skin. Avoid jet-black hair which will give you a washed out look and if you do opt for a golden shade, don’t go too light or your hair could turn orange. If you have cool shade, avoid colours that will highlight the ruddiness of your skin tone: Gold, auburn and copper. Ash blondes and cool browns work best.

Pick The Right Hair Colour
How to tell if you’d make a great blonde
A basic thumb rule is that people who had blonde hair as children have the right skin tone to be blonde adults.

Sideswept Bangs

Penelope Cruz attended the Torino Film Festival in Italy with a new look: Wispy sideswept bangs. We love the way they’re longer and more layered than the blunt bangs of the last few seasons. This look is decidedly lower maintenance and more versatile, working with a variety of hair textures from straight and fine to thick and curly. Cruz is opting for an undone version here, but we can also envision them blown sleek and super-straight for a more formal holiday affair. And the very best part? The soft layers will make growing them out a breeze.

Feather Hair Clip

Victoria Justice worked a clip-in feather at a radio appearance in Los Angeles. Worn right behind the ear, it’s the perfect subtle hair accessory for the season. To keep it sophisticated, wear a feather in a complimentary tone to your hair color. Think caramel, honey, wheat or even venture out into smoky gray or basic black like Justice’s. It’s a sexy alternative to earrings with a Native American and bohemian inspiration. Clip-on versions are available at most beauty supplies stores; ask your stylist if you're interested in something more permanent.

Finger Wave Updo

In an era defined by down-to-there hair extensions, a simple finger wave really stood out on Emmy Rossum at the season premiere of Shameless. It may look complicated, but it’s easy enough to replicate at home. Mist hair with extra-hold spray before rolling the pieces closest to your face into small (about 1-inch thick) curlers. Leave in for about 10 minutes and release. Smooth your strands into a deep side part with a lightweight gel to eliminate flyaways. Tie loosely into a low-slung bun so you can see the curls framing the face. Pair with art-deco jewels and a vintage inspired dress to finish off the look.

Perfect Pixie

Michelle Williams arrived at the Palm Springs Film Festival in a beaded Miu Miu dress and her signature pixie in a new shade of strawberry blonde. Her hairstylist, Thomas Dunkin, used products by Sebastian to take it from polished and smooth to more piecey. To get the look, he suggests blow-drying hair with your fingers to retain your natural texture. Once it’s dry, use a thick molding mud or wax and apply to random pieces to accentuate the texture. "Pinch some product through the fringe of the bangs to create a light separation so they won’t appear blunt," he adds.

New Beachy Wave

"Working with Kristen Wiig for the Golden Globes was a dream come true. She's smart, she's funny, and she's drop-dead gorgeous," hairstylist Mark Townsend told us. Because her dress and jewelry were so dramatic, he went for lush but low-key hair. "I wanted volume on the sides, but not on top, and a matte finish. I think that's so modern," he said. Using Dove products, Townsend worked a dollop of mousse into damp hair and blowdried with a round brush. Next, he spritzed three-inch sections with hairspray before wrapping them around a curling iron, and raking through each spiral with his fingers to break-up the waves. "This isn't a beachy wave. This is something new," he adds.

Healthy Highlighted Hair

Ombre highlights—hair color that starts off darker at the roots and melts into a lighter color at the tips—is a trend with a broad scope. Thandie Newton’s are the most subtle version, just a shade or two darker than her natural hair. She arrived at the 2012 Laureus World Sports Awards in London with slick, straight strands that looked extra polished. With any hair color, conditioning is key. To keep hair shiny and healthy, like Newton’s, use moisturizing conditioners packed with ingredients to replace the oils stripped from hair during coloring.

Alexa Chung’s Ombre Highlights

At the ELLE Style Awards in London, Alexa Chung showed off her pitch-perfect, ombre highlights. The color melts seamlessly from her warm brown bangs to her caramel tips. Her strands' soft, bouncy but still slightly undone texture compliments the look. If you’re considering ombre highlights, take your cue from Chung and keep the flow organic: Avoid a drastic shift in color halfway down the hair shaft. The great thing about this style is its surprisingly low maintenance—root touch-ups are few and far between.

Soft Bangs

From wispy and side-swept to blunt and severe, bangs are having a major moment and Rihanna is the latest celebrity to debut the new style. Always known for pulling off chic hair transformations, the chameleon debuted her new look at the BRIT Awards in London. Her hairstylist Ursula Stephen says, “I wanted to give her bangs minus the harsh line, so I layered them with a razor to create some softness.” The music superstar emphasized her new do by sweeping up the rest of her strands in a sleek updo and arriving in a sequined gown with a plunging neckline and extra long gloves.

High Ponytail

At the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles, Shailene Woodley wore a sleek high ponytail. If you want to try a similar style, start with clean, straight hair, and follow the natural line of your cheekbone when pulling it back. If in doubt, aim higher, but be careful not to pull strands too tight. A super-taut ponytail will add stress to hair follicles, which can lead to more breakage.

Satin Headband

At the Cosmopolitan Fun, Fearless Female Awards in New York City, Freida Pintoaccented her low-key updo with a thin ribbon headband. An accessory like this can either make or break your style, so keep it from looking juvenile by steering clear of bold prints. Opt for a solid color with a satin finish to create a modern, grown-up effect. A dark band adds a touch of elegance, while brighter hues add an unexpected pop of color. And no fussy styles here—pair the accessory with either a simple updo like Pinto, or soft strands worn down.

Bold Lips and Ivory Skin

Drew Barrymore looked more than fine at a screening of Everybody's Fine in Hollywood. To perfect her skin, makeup artist Debra Ferullo blended moisturizer with shimmery foundation on her cheekbones, then followed with matte foundation on the rest of the face. "Choose a foundation that matches your skin perfectly so that you don't have to use it all over," she says. And as for those gorgeous tomato red lips? "I gave the tube to Drew so she could retouch throughout the night."

Sleek Straight Hair

At the Christian Dior show during Paris Fashion Week, Mila Kunis wore shiny, pin-straight strands. We love how her hair was sleek, but not lifeless. To keep your hair from looking too stringy, spritz a volumizing spray at your crown before blow-drying with a round brush to give lift and movement. Then, smooth a shine serum through your hair to create a mirror-like finish, concentrating on your mid-lengths and ends. The result? A shiny, fuss-free style that won’t fall flat.

Loss Of Hair

This is a very natural phenomenon and all of us do loss hair. Too much of hair loss is a matter of concern. This usually happens after a long illness, extreme climates, too much of stress and bad eating or sleeping habits.

Tip 1:

Wash the hair with Tender Coconut water every other day for weeks.

Tip 2:

Add the paste of fresh Curry leaves to Shikakai powder and wash hair with this on a regular basis.

Tip 3:

Wash hair with coconut milk

Tip 4:

Dry some basil leaves and Margosa leaves. Add some Bay leaves and powder all 3 together. Add 1tspn of this powder to 50 ml. of water and apply for ½ an hour Wash.

Natural Shampoo

Any product that you apply on the skin would be better if it contains natural ingredients. Why? Because, chemical ingredients or additives may harm the skin whereas active natural ingredients will never harm your skin.
The above rule applies to your hair and scalp also. You get several advantages when you use a natural shampoo which includes chemical free additives. Such shampoos are also called organic shampoos.
I am listing below some of the more prominent advantages of using an all-natural shampoo:

  1. Naturally moisturizes your hair
  2. Maintains proper pH balance
  3. Does not leave residues in the hair
  4. Better at removing dandruff
  5. Dryness can be avoided by using natural ingredients like avocado or coconut oil
  6. Reduce the risk of hair loss as well as dryness by avoiding chemicals like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)
  7. Softness of the skin is maintained
  8. Organic Shampoos are non-irritants
  9. They are very gentle on the skin and even kids can use it safely.
  10. Allergic reactions due to certain chemicals are avoided when you use natural shampoos
It is better to use an organic shampoo that does not use any form of fragrances because fragrances are bad for the skin.

Safe Hair Dyeing

With the depletion of human growth hormone, gray hair are a given as we age. As a result, hair dyeing is an important aspect of every mature person’s hair care routine and one that needs to be performed with extreme care and caution. Numerous reports of hair damage, hair fall and other serious health concerns have lead us to become sceptical about the usage of hair dyes. It is no longer safe to trust the branded organic and natural hair dyes either. Some people say that getting a hair dye at a salon from a professional is the solution. But the truth remains that it is as risky as a hair dye routine at home. This guide takes you through the basics of hair dye in order to make decision making easier for you:

  1. Henna and Vegetable Hair Dyes
  2. Henna is made from flowers and thus is one of the most natural and healthy means of colouring your hair. It negates the bad effects of ammonia, present in artificial hair colours and thus can be used frequently without any worry. The only limitation with henna is that it tends to give a natural reddish look to your hair due to the pigments present in it. It can’t be manipulated to give other hair colours without adding chemicals and artificial agents to it and that might prove to be harmful.
Vegetable hair dyes are also gaining popularity but they happen to be colourless. These dyes are used for providing an extra shine to your hair and strengthen hair.
  3. Home Made Hair Dyes
  4. Homemade hair dyes are the safest available options. These hair dye products are made of completely natural ingredients that are easily available at home (for example tea bags and henna) and are not at all expensive. The only limitation you will have is the lack of choice of colours. Black and red (due to usage of henna) are the only available options for homemade hair dyes.
  5. Chamomile
  6. Chamomile, just like Henna is another herbal product that can be used for homemade hair dyeing solutions. It is produced from daisy like flowers and can be used to brighten your hair colour. It is recommended for usage by blondes and brunettes. Like vegetable hair dyes chamomile is incapable of providing any colour to the hair. It just enhances its shine and strength.
It is of utmost importance that you go natural while choosing hair dyes and other hair products. The presence of harmful chemicals in artificial hair dyes are known to be carcinogenic and are also known to cause other serious health issues. Hair fall, hair damage and bad hair quality are also common in case you choose artificial hair colours. Artificial hair colours have substantial amounts of triethanolamine, resorchinol p-phenylenediamine and coal tar-based chemicals. Avoid these (or any other) chemicals and stick to safe natural means.

HAIR DANDRUFF

The best way to atone for this would be to go "Totally Natural" from time to time. Just like plants hair too needs proper nourishment. You need to eat a proper protein rich diet.

The scalp should be clean before oiling the hair. Do brush hair as a daily routine, with firm downward strokes. Wet hair should not be brushed, as hair is weak when it is wet, and breaks easily. Take care and the time to massage the scalp while oiling hair, as this will increase the blood circulation around the roots.

Dandruff is the shedding of dead cells from the scalp. It sometimes leads to boils and pimples too. These are some ways in which we can get rid of dandruff.

Tip 1:

Keep the scalp clean. Oil hair on alternate days and shampoo.

Tip 2:

Mix 2 tspns of Brandy in 1 cup of water. Apply with the fingertips to the roots of hair. Wash after ½ hour with shampoo.

Tip 3:

Mix 1 egg with 1 cup of yogurt and apply on the scalp. Leave for ½ an hour and wash.

Tip 4:

Mix 1 tblspn of Olive oil with 1 tspn of limejuice. Apply well on the scalp and cover the head by tying an old scarf. Keep it on overnight and shampoo the next morning.

Tip 5:

1 tspn of Fenugreek seed powder mixed with an egg. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before shampooing the hair.

Tip 6:

1 tspn fenugreek seed powder mixed with 1 cup of yogurt. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before washing.

Tip 7:

Take 2 tblspns of Beetroot juice and add 1 egg and 1 tspn limejuice to this. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before washing.

Tip 8:

Oil hair well before going to bed. Next morning mix 1 tspn limejuice with ½ tspn salt. Rub this on the scalp with the peel of a lime turned inside out. Leave for 1 hour before shampooing.
